Nykaa, the Indian beauty retailer with a UAE presence through Nysaa, said its second-quarter profit nearly tripled as stronger demand for premium beauty products and improved operating efficiency lifted margins, according to The Business of Fashion. Nysaa is Nykaa’s beauty retail joint venture with UAE-based Apparel Group, connecting the Indian company to the Gulf’s beauty market.
The Indian beauty retailer pointed to premium beauty demand as a key driver of the performance, while efficiency gains helped support profitability in the quarter, the publication reported. These are Nykaa’s reported company results, not a separately reported measure of Nysaa’s UAE sales or profits.
The UAE connection: Nysaa
Nykaa and Apparel Group launched Nysaa’s first store at City Centre Mirdif in Dubai on 1 March 2024, according to their official launch announcement. The venture brings international beauty brands to Gulf customers through physical shops and online retail.
As checked on 6 November 2026, Apparel Group’s official Nysaa directory lists five UAE stores and two in Oman. UAE locations include City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Hills Mall, BurJuman Mall, City Centre Al Zahia and Yas Mall. Nysaa also offers online shopping through its e-commerce website.
That local retail presence explains the relevance of Nykaa’s earnings to a UAE business audience. It does not establish that the UAE operation drove the reported profit increase, and the cited earnings report does not provide a separate UAE profit figure.
