Dubai Healthcare City has broken ground on Dubai Creek Gardens, an AED 3 billion (about $817 million) residential development that ties housing directly to the district''s health and wellness services.
The masterplan covers more than 127,000 square metres along Dubai Creek and will deliver over 1,400 homes, with reporting indicating roughly 70% of the total area given to landscaped gardens, parks, sports and wellness facilities, alongside curated retail and dining.
The project includes branded residences carrying Westin and Renaissance names — a first for those brands in the UAE — placing hotel-operated services next to clinical and rehabilitation facilities already inside the healthcare free zone.
The combination is the point: Dubai Healthcare City has positioned itself around medical tourism and long-stay treatment, and residential supply next to that ecosystem serves patients, practitioners and staff rather than general market demand alone.
Construction timelines and sales phasing were not fully detailed at groundbreaking; delivery will be staged across the community.
