Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has signed a memorandum of understanding with Alibaba Cloud to support businesses in adopting agentic AI solutions, according to the two organisations.

The agreement is aimed at helping companies implement AI tools and frameworks within their operations, with a focus on practical adoption across the private sector. The announcement places the partnership within Dubai’s wider efforts to strengthen digital capabilities and encourage the use of advanced technologies by businesses operating in the emirate.

Alibaba Cloud is the cloud computing and AI arm of Alibaba Group, while the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy works to support the growth of the digital economy in Dubai and promote the emirate as a destination for technology companies and startups. The MoU adds another corporate partnership to that agenda, with both sides presenting the agreement as a step toward wider business use of agentic AI.
